Extended hours and days—MinuteClinic centers are generally open 7 days a week, like the retail stores they’re located in, so clients don’t have to fit their appointments to traditional schedules (hours may vary)
Claims are submitted directly to us—there’s no client intervention needed*
Cost effective - Visits to MinuteClinic are covered by Assurant Health the same as an office visit to a network physician.
Economical alternative to visiting the emergency room or an urgent care clinic - Clients can keep their out-of-pocket costs down.
* Some retail health clinics may ask for payment at the time of service for those clients with a high deductible plan or a copay requirement for office visits. Any over-payment will be promptly refunded by the retail health clinic to the customer upon receipt of the Explanation of Benefits
